BOSTON, MA – Two pedestrians sustained injuries after they were struck by a driver in the Allston area on Monday night, according to NBC 10 Boston.
The accident occurred near 1270 Commonwealth Avenue at about 7 p.m., during rainy weather conditions.
One of the two victims was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening wounds. The other pedestrian suffered injuries that were less serious, and not expected to be life-threatening.
The driver, who remained at the scene after the collision, was unhurt.
The identities of the victims and the driver have not yet been released.
Authorities are continuing to look into the crash at this time.
