BOSTON, MA – A prisoner being transported in the back of a police vehicle was injured during an incident in Boston this morning, according to WHDH.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of St. Casimir Street and W Broadway, when a vehicle pulled in front of a Boston Police transport wagon.
A prisoner who was riding in the back of the vehicle sustained non-critical injuries, and was taken to an unspecified hospital for treatment. Their identity has not yet been released.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
Authorities continue to look into the accident at this time.
