STOUGHTON, MA – A pedestrian has died of injuries he sustained after being hit by an SUV in Stoughton on Wednesday evening, according to The Enterprise.
The crash occurred at about 5:10 p.m. near the intersection of Lakewood Drive and Central Street (also known as Route 27), when the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with pedestrian Christopher Wade, 55.
Wade reportedly went into cardiac arrest as he was being taken to the hospital in Brockton. He later died there of his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
