Harwich man airlifted to Boston after aerosol explosion

BOSTON, MA – A Harwich man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital Wednesday after an aerosol can exploded and injured him.

The Cape Cod Times reports that emergency crews responded to the scene at Speak Way in North Harwich shortly after 10 a.m. They transported the injured man to Barnstable Municipal Airport, where he was transferred to a MedFlight helicopter.

The nature of his injuries are not known, but they are presumed to be severe.
