BOSTON, MA – A woman walking across the street in south Boston was killed after being hit by a dump truck this morning, according to WCVB.
The accident happened at Southhampton and Dorchester Streets at about 10:45 a.m., when a young woman—who was not publicly identified—was struck by a dump truck while she was crossing the intersection.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital, where she died of her injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
