BOSTON, MA –A woman was killed and another person was sent to the hospital after an elevator accident in the Allston neighborhood yesterday, according to the New Haven Register.
The accident happened in a five-story apartment building on Commonwealth Avenue at about 5 p.m.
The female victim, described only as being in her thirties, died at the scene.
Another victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of shock, but not for physical injuries, according to the report.
Police are intending to use surveillance footage to aid in the investigation, which continues at this time. OSHA will reportedly be involved.
