HOPKINTON, MA – Multiple injuries were reported after a semi-truck collided with two military Humvees in Hopkinton yesterday morning, according to WHDH and the Hopkinton Wicked Local.
The accident happened on I-495 near Exit 22 at about 10:30 a.m. when the vehicles, which were traveling as part of a military convoy, collided. It is unclear whether the semi was part of the convoy.
While the exact circumstances surrounding the accident were not released, Massachusetts State Troopers reported that multiple occupants suffered minor injuries..
The right lanes of the highway were blocked as a result of the collision, causing traffic delays of about 25 minutes while authorities worked to clear the crash.
The identities of the victims were not made public.
