BROCKTON, MA – A woman is dead following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Brockton Tuesday, according to Mass Live.
The accident happened at about 9 p.m. near 680 Centre Street, when a woman—who has yet to be publicly identified—was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street.
The vehicle, possibly a dark SUV, fled the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in Brockton, where she later died of her injuries.
Police continue to investigate the collision and to search for the driver responsible.
