CONCORD, MA – A woman died after behind trapped beneath a vehicle in Concord this morning, according to NECN.
A motor vehicle struck a female pedestrian at the corner of Thoreau and Main Streets at approximately 10:30 a.m. She became trapped beneath the wreckage and was taken to the hospital after being extracted by emergency crews.
The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, died at the hospital of injuries sustained in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
There is no word on if the driver is expected to face charges.
