October 22, 2020

QUINCY, MA – A three-vehicle rollover collision in the Wollastan area of Quincy led to three people being taken to the hospital yesterday morning, according to the Quincy Wicked Local.

The crash happened near the intersection of Greenwood Ave and Beale St at about 11 a.m. when the driver of a Toyota Corolla collided with another vehicle, a 2003 Jeep Cherokee. A Toyota sedan also was crashed in the accident.

The Jeep rolled onto its side, trapping its driver, an 89-year-old man from Quincy, as well as a passenger within the wreckage.

The two victims, along with the driver of the Toyota sedan, were taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical injuries. The other driver was not reported as injured.

The Jeep’s driver is facing charges in connection with the crash, including those of speeding and reckless driving.

The identities of the victims were not made immediately available.
