BARNSTABLE, MA – A single-vehicle crash in a village in the Marstons Mills area sent a 21-year-old man to the hospital early Monday, according to WHDH.
The accident happened around 240 River Road at about 1 a.m., when the driver of a Toyota RAV4 crashed into a pole. The impact caused the utility pole to break in two, with live wires strewn on the ground as a result.
The driver, who was not publicly identified, was flown to a hospital in Boston with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
