Alex was born in Campeche, Mexico and raised in Port Isabel, Texas. After graduating high school, he attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. There he earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Spanish in 1998.

Alex then moved to Houston, Texas where he was employed in sales and purchasing. In 2002, Alex joined the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences as a forensic investigator conducting death investigations for Harris County, Texas.

In 2007, he left forensics to attend South Texas College of Law Houston. Alex earned his J.D. in 2010. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Texas, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Alex served the public as an Assistant District Attorney for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office in Texas and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. He has practiced criminal defense and provided defense to indigent children and parents in children and family law abuse and neglect cases. However, it was through his work defending insurance companies in personal injury cases that he learned how unfair insurance companies can be. Alex now zealously fights the insurance companies to obtain the recovery his clients deserve, and prides himself in rendering attentive client service.

Alex’s interests include fishing and jogging. He especially enjoys spending time with his family and their miniature dachshund, Lily.
